"I was looking for a fresh, exciting piece for my nerdy metal trivia brand, and I came across the work of Rachel Alderson. We discussed the background of the project, and the overall vibe of Skull Toaster, and she gave me some ideas which aligned perfectly with everything I was looking for. She kept me in the loop over the course of the project, was clear and to the point every step of the way, and delivered the final piece on time. I’d highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a lightning bolt of awesome!"

- Seth Werkheiser - Skull Toaster.

My name is Rachel Alderson, I am a freelance illustrator and character designer based in Leeds UK with a passion for characters and creatures. I have been working as a freelance illustrator for 2 years, I'm always learning and trying to better myself and my craft. I am massively inspired by video games and film, which is where my love of monsters came from. As long as I can continue to work on fun projects with awesome people and have a good coffee in the morning, I'm happy!

I also run my own clothing brand, Monster Trunk Collectables, where I focus on giving the customer a fun, exciting experience. I love having full control over every element of the brand, whether it's designing each product, interacting with my customers or packaging orders and adding lots of treats. Every product is limited edition and hand finished by me in my studio, helping to make each product more of a collectable rather than 'just a t-shirt'.
